WRITERS, RESEARCHERS AND DESIGNERS NEEDED TO HELP DEVELOP AN EXCITING E-LEARNING PROJECT EnvELOP is an e-learning project aimed at educators and learners of environmental education. EnveLOP is an acronym for Environemtal Education & Learning Online Programmes. The aim is to provide a rich resource which takes a blended learning approach. This will include e-learning resources that will incorporate well written and produced lesson plans and activities, videos, webcasts, podcasts, vodcasts and serious games and virtual learning environments (VLEs). EnvELOP will also link closely with our experiential learning projects under the Inspired by Nature workshop programme. These comprise workshops and hands-on environmental and art activities - see Nocturne and Harvesting the Sunshine for examples of this activity. Developing EnvELOP EnvELOP is still in the early stages of development and we need good writers, researchers and designers to help us develop content for our e-learning programmes. Once launched and we start receiving subscription fees and "selling" the programmes, we will then start to pay royalties to the writers and developers. If we can develop enough robust e-learning content, then we are aiming for early to mid spring 2010 to launch EnvELOP properly. If you are interested in helping us to develop EnvELOP, you can become involved in a number of ways. * Writing and developing lesson plans. If you would like to get involved, then please contact Denise Taylor: Email: denise.taylor at btinternet.com Please feel free to circulate this call to action to anyone else you think might be able to help.
